Title: Senior
Project Manager
Reporting
to: SVP Product Development/COO
Role
The Senior Project Manager will develop, implement, monitor and continuously refine and update systems and processes for managing the company’s product development projects, with particular emphasis on projects involving collaborative efforts with academic partners. They will also be involved in managing a system to review the Company’s development portfolio.
Responsibilities
•
Assume primary project
management responsibility for nominated development projects, involving both internal
and external teams
•
Develop and maintain an overall project management system(s) suitable for managing Cell Medica’s product development efforts
•
Input to a Portfolio Management system to permit review of the Company’s pipeline on a regular basis.
•
Develop, regularly update, and
maintain comprehensive project plans
•
Track and report progress and
budget against targets on a regular basis
•
Alert senior management to
significant deviations and help identify and implement corrective actions
•
Provide accurate information
and support decision-making by senior management on projects, as required
•
Coordinate and communicate with
all stakeholders to ensure projects are proceeding to plan
•
Facilitate, support and contribute to regular internal and external functional and cross-functional engagements and team as
necessary to support and project activities
•
Facilitate,
support and collate regular contributions & inputs to internal Program and
Portfolio Management Proactively
identify projectrisks and develop, recommend and implement mitigation plans
•
Coordinate regular internal and
external project team and steering committee meetings
•
Maintain complete project
documentation at all times
Education and Experience
•
University degree in a
biomedical science subject, advanced/post-graduate degree is a plus
•
Minimum 5 years in project
management roles
•
Minimum 3 years in
biotech/pharmaceutical drug development
•
Experience managing drug
development and/or biological research projects in an industrial setting e.g.
pharmaceutical or biotech company. Experience in oncology, immunotherapy,
cellular immunotherapy, or gene therapy is advantageous.

Training in project management
and project leadership
•
Experience in successfully managing
collaborative projects between industry and academia is highly desirable
•
Proficient in word processing,
spreadsheet, database, and project management tools
