Role

This is an important finance role for a part qualified accountant in an expanding global cell therapy company. The Assistant Management Accountant will work in close association with the Management Accountant and Senior Finance Manager to deliver the Group’s management reporting, identifying and recommending operational efficiencies and improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Assist with review and input of overseas submissions
  • Monthly bank reconciliations for all entities within the
    group
  • Initial review of proposed supplier payment reports
  • Maintenance of allocated prepayment and accrual schedules
    for entities within the Group
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register for all entities within the
    Group
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation & submission of tax and other
    statutory returns
  • Provide cover for Accounts Payable function as and when
    required
  • Ad hoc projects & tasks as required

Education and Experience

  • Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent – AAT qualified with plans to do ACCA will be considered
  • At least one year of relevant month end accounting
    experience
  • Computer literate with strong Excel skills
